This project was a total passion project that easily consumed hundreds of hours. I became a laser cutting expert (or at least I think so!) through countless experiments. Designing the power plants alone was a rollercoaster; I must have gone through six or seven drafts. Fully understanding the laser beam width, or "kerf," was a total game-changer. My initial designs were way off, but with perseverance, I finally cracked the code. Now I have a super deluxe version of Power Grid that I absolutely adore!

Power Grid was a game that really resonated with my friends and I. It's become a staple in our game nights. I've been tinkering with my own version for a while, but couldn't quite get it right. Discovering a laser cutter at a nearby cooperative workspace was a game-changer. It sparked a new level of enthusiasm for the project, and I dove headfirst into creating something special.

It's a long shot, but I wonder if there's a market for something like this. I haven't priced it out yet, but if you're genuinely interested, I'd be open to making another one.
